"The Songs of the Mountains" Festival

The largest and oldest festival of its kind, "The Songs of the Mountains" celebrates the youth and vivacity of traditional culture through a parade of traditional costumes, open-air shows, dance workshops, costume exhibitions, concerts, film and book presentations and traditional evenings with culinary focus in various restaurants in Sibiu.

The protagonists of the festival will be 800 artists coming from Algeria, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Cyprus, Turkey and Romania. The Professional Folk Dance Ensemble Cindrelul –Junii Sibiului will be the special guest of the festival.
