Evangelic Parochial House at no. 1 and 2, Huet Square
the 13th – 14th century, 1502, the 16th century
A stone portal made by Andreas Lapicida in the gothic style stands out. A coat of arms situated above the portal bears the inscription mentioning Johannis of Atlanta as a donor and the year 1502. The portal bears at its superior part a rectangular panel with his emblem (a rampant lion holding a cross coming out of a crown) and in the four corners the portrait of his patron Saint John the Baptist, the emperor FREDERIC and that of Pope ALEXANDER the 6th BORGIA. The inscription on the superior part, ARMA JOHANNIS DE OLCZNA Q(VE) CESAR/ FRIEDERICUS DEDIT ADDIDIT CRUCEM/ HIERUSOLIMA SANCTA ALMA ROMA/ FIRMAVIT ANNO DOMINI 1502 is flanked by a profile announcing the Renaissance. The gothic frame of the door stands out due to the profoundness of the mouldings and the finesse of the vegetal decorations.
The cellar of the Parochial House, arched in a gothic style, dates from the beginning of the 15th century
The roof with four slopes with a ridge parallel with the façade replaced after 1808 a much taller roof with tiles
